Madeleine Grummet

Passionate about backing great founders building great companies and growing great teams, Madeleine Grummet is active across the Australian startup ecosystem as a venture capital and angel investor, award-winning edtech entrepreneur, startup mentor and media contributor.

Mads started her career as a journalist with News Corp Australia, and continues to find voice and tell stories across platforms as a keynote speaker, writer, author and cohost of the top-rating Human Cogs podcast.

Mads is also an inaugural member of the Startmate Media Fellowship 2022.

Mads holds multiple board and advisory positions, received the 2020 University of Melbourne Leadership Award, Victorian 2019 Tech Diversity Award and is a graduate of Melbourne Business School's Master of Entrepreneurship (2016) and VC Catalyst (2019).

But hands down her greatest achievements come from learning by doing; trying to human well; and remaining a forever apprentice to her four daughters, who keep her eyes firmly on the horizon.
