Nicola Nye

Nicola Nye serves as Fastmail’s Chief of Staff, a many-faceted role that covers all areas of the company’s operations, from overseeing their compliance and legal responsibilities, to managing complex projects with external partners, to building a more effective internal culture across their global team.

Not only reporting to Fastmail’s board, Nicola also participates in external advisory boards where she meets with other company leaders and discusses their greatest challenges and opportunities.

Nicola organises CTO School Australia, having extended its reach from just Melbourne to the rest of the country, where she coaches aspiring tech leaders, and sources speakers to broaden attendees experience.

No stranger to the startup scene, her career history is a list of Melbourne tech companies, where she was often the only technical member who wasn’t a man. Her experiences have build a passion to making systemic change to enable greater diversity within the technology fields.

She’s a firm believer in Hope Punk, cats and chocolate.
